This is the final design for Swanswell’s Christmas message.
The colours and music were Swanswell’s choice, but i’m fairly pleased with how it turned out.

This is currently a work in progress.
I was asked to create an interactive piece for Swanswell for christmas.
This is only a part of what i have to create, which shows the company slogan coming out of 5 christmas presents.
This is the final video from my recent Roses Awards motion project for uni.
The brief was to create a concept (a product, a social movement, etc.) that sells/campaigns for simplicity.
I created a blog that ran alongside this brief, which can be found here.
Well i’m back at Salford uni for my final year in graphic design, and they’ve decided the best format for our PDP’s is a blog…..i swear someone suggested this idea last year…..
Anyway, the link to it can be found HERE. I’ll be updating it with things that i find ‘inspiring’, ‘interesting’, or things that just relate to my course.
Second attempt at splash photography, with the DPOV guys.
This time we used two Nikon D90’s, on with an 18-50mm f2.8 and the other with a 80-200mm f2.8. This gave us a bit of variety in the pictures we captured.
The rest of the images and all my previous splash pictures can be found here.

I got phoned up by a friend tonight who said he was out skating and would i like to go and take some shots, why not i thought.
I think its pretty mandatory to take skating shots using a fisheye, and as i haven’t used it much lately i attached it to my camera and snapped away. I took just under 400 shots in an hour, mostly using trial an error to get the results i wanted.
Another evening of flash based photography, this time at preston docks.
Mostly just experimentation with the flash and lighting, all the images can be found on my flickr.
Another shoot using my newly purchased sync cable, this time firing the flash directly behind the subject.
As it was raining at this point the water droplets were also illuminated creating a great effect.
Having recently bought a sync cable I wanted to try out some lowkey portrait shots, and so got given the perfect opportunity at my friends birthday gathering.
All the images can be found on my flickr page.
